meomy 980 Report post Posted October 2, 2021 Some of you will recall the days when sailing vessels took people and horses to the races around New Zealand. In more recent years there was a boat that people could and did catch to go from Auckland to Ruakaka Races at Whangarei/ Whangarain We know there are those of you involved in the Racing industry who have worked in key roles in the Ports/ Shipping and sailing industry so your views and input would be appreciated. Is this something we should be discussing as a proactive group to ensure Racing in the North and other places that are obstructed with these maddening Public Health advisors rules is circumnavigated to keep the industry afloat? If there's people who have boats helping others travel home from overseas why are we Racing people not thinking outside the square? We must get racing across all of New Zealand back where it belongs, in the limelight and capitalize on the fact people have air travel restrictions so won't be flying anywhere as long as Professor Shaun Hendy is doing his Climate Change Projects, incidentally for those who may not be aware, his father was Professor Mike D Hendy who was based at Massey Uni and studied at New England Uni, Australia.
