A Grandson named LAWN DERBY (by Robert Derby) The first horse outside America to run under the 2.00 minute mile . At Addington in November 1938 in 1.59.4 . Remembering it was still hard to break 2 minutes even up to the 1970's. unthinkable in 1938. And he did it without Hopples !! an amazing feat of training . what an amazing pacer . (Today 99 % of them still need hopples to keep balanced) One of the greatest Feats of All time in Australia and NZ by an All-time great.. 2Piper
