In FIFA's defence, those rankings were last month's rankings ... i.e. they didn't take into account the final 8 games...

There is a formula in Wikipedia for working it all out but I am not so Trainspotter-ish as to want to bother, ha...

The Netherlands having beaten both Brazil and Germany since then will see them rise significantly.

I'd pick it'd now look something like (and the numbers are just guesswork):

Spain 1700

Netherlands 1500

Germany 1400

Brazil 1300

Italy 1200
