.....tune in to Sky 025 [ Rialto ] tomorrow night , Thursday @ 8.30pm.

'Fire in Babylon' is a documentary about the rise of West Indian cricket.

But it's much more than Cricket.....eg Bob Marley music.....gives a great insight to life in the West Indies.

Its a must see !!!

Take special note of the clips after England's captain Tony Greig announces "We will make the West Indies grovel !!!!"

Viv Richards in his book is scathing of Greig for those comments and his aggregate of runs in the ensuing test series left no one in doubt as to what he was motivated by.

Another good doco on tonight is "One Night in Turin". Based on the 1990 World Cup England team with Robson in charge and Gazza's iconic tearful moment.

Great sport documentaries are priceless. In 1996 the BBC did a series called "Clash of the Titans" - a six part series which focussed on great sporting rivalries. Botham's Ashes, Coe v Ovett, the 1974 Lions v Springboks, and Borg v McInroe were probably the best documentaries on sport I ever saw. Absolute masterpieces which only the Poms can achieve.

But if you havent got Rialto theres always Deaker on Sport to view at the same time on SS1. He's pretty close to BBC standards. Plonker.

....the Senna movie/doc was great as was the one on the Isle of Man TT......motorbike racing but much , much more.

Great weather for school holidays Torch !!!

Yerp! Think I saw you out on the bike today. Unsure.

Just how good was that '74 Lions side?? The gas of JJ Williams was amazing and as for Phil Bennetts side step - not many had better! The try he scores when out pacing Bosch, skipping clear of him, and then stepping the fullback in one motion is one of the great tries in test rugby.
