From that you somehow multiply the numbers in your head by 100 [5 becomes 5,000, 1,000 becomes 100,000] and ultimately you all convince each other "Hey guys, if l think this, and you think that, they'll be another 500,000 out there just like us and suddenly, BINGO, in your head Liz Gunn is getting 20% of the vote!!" And just like the excitement over you 1,000 to 1 Trump landslide tickets [or whatever the odds were on the last ones you foolishly took when the betting agency saw you coming a mile off] you're going to be extremely disappointed.....AGAIN. You over-estimate the percentage of the world whose brains are wired like yours. It's certainly [and tragically] an abnormal worldwide, but thankfully not enough to do too much damage in elections. At least in NZ. I'm not so sure about the USA. They look fooked whatever plays out there.

You're right about the two main parties, to a point. However, I'd like to suggest that one term under The Greens alone, ACT alone, Te Pati Maori alone or even worse still, one of the 1% parties, you wouldn't be able to book a ticket out of New Zealand fast enough. The country would be rooted in a scale you currently can't even begin to imagine in your wildest imagination. These 1%'ers are hazardous to everybody's wellbeing, including their own. Any party polling under 5% will not do this country any good whatsoever. They're stacked to the ceiling with fruit loops. Personally I quite like ACT, and they will get my party vote, but if I thought they were going to be able to govern on their own I'd think twice about it. ACT and the Greens are realistic, they're going for the Party Vote. Win a seat or two on top of making the 5% threshold and you've got some representation in parliament, maybe as many as a dozen seats. Those parties would never get that under FPP.
So 100 1 thinks Liz will pull over 20% of the vote. Thats only slightly less than Labour are currently polling. That's 24 seats in Parliament for a party than one month out from the election virtually nobody has heard of, thru have little policy out there and no candidate list. 100 1 has an imagination larger than all 50 states of the USA, but a large and active imagination does not a government form. I don't know who he thinks all these people are that are going to vote for Liz, where they are coming from, but maybe he's got a small circle of 3 or 4 friends down that rabbit hole he resides in, that they're all in, 100%, and if they are then surely everybody else must be too, right? If NZ Loyal secure even 1% of the vote at the 2023 election, I'll eat my hat and post a video in this thread.

Can you please explain with a logical answer how Billys party (Advance NZ) had more activity on social media than any othr party,. had over 60,000 subscribed supporters that eqates to over 100k voters yet received only 9000 odd votes? Less than the 1% to get representation?
