  1. These boys obviously don't go to ballet much on their evenings off. LES SYLPHIDES now pronounced by these well educated trackside commentators as LES SILPIPIDEES.
  2. That is terrible news - what a tragedy for all concerned. Only consolation, he's left behind some wonderrful horses. Let's hope that Jimmy Choux makes it as a stallion.
  3. Why would he want to buy a 2 y old if he's interested in breeding? Surely better to go to the broodmare sale in May.
  4. Come on - have another go - we'd like to see it
  5. You are spot on Catalano - you can read books and listen to advice till you're blue in the face and probably have no more success than if you leap in, follow your instincts and buy something you like.
  6. Sir Percy filly out of Outburst born 5th November. Ordered a brown colt - got another chestnut filly
  7. They probably think that zzz zzzzz wrote the book
  8. Trackside today at Banks Peninsula
  9. Now I've heard everything. Today the commentators and race reader congratulating themselves on getting the pronounciation of ANNA KARENINA correct. Then - wait for it - he said that apparently Anna Karenina was a Russian gymnast! Where do they get these guys from?
  10. Rusty Spur seems to get more than his share of fast horses. Is he still about?
  11. Couldn't agree more. His youngsters are generally nice types too. Keeper is another whose stock doesn't make a great deal at the sales yet his results are outstanding.
  12. That was last year's foal by Chinese Dragon/Outburst - I was just practising to see if I could upload a photo. Sir Percy foal due in a couple of weeks.
  13. How old Louise?
  14. Great, it works - Now I hope to see everyone's foal pictures as soon as they arrive -
  15. Trying to add a photo Sorry - Nothing to do with Sir Percy, just seeing if it works
