Casper got a reaction from Gruff in Mrs Cubes wants to name the next horse "Nine to Five"
Forget Dolly take the wife to Pink she will be in town come September, then you can name the champ "Get The Party Started" or F**kin Perfect, or every time he/she salutes maybe "Raise Your Glass"
Nine to Five sounds like where your horse will be placed each start

    Well done, team 'The Rubiks'
You got in the decisive stride, courtesy of Captain Cubes, and 'French Emotion'  !  Top stuff. A thoroughly deserved win in a magnificent game. The lead changed 5 times !!
Great effort from all participants in this high-scoring match.  Team Aggregates don't count in 'sudden death' matchplay, but the aggregates were impressive.A pleasure to have taken part in this match.

Thank you very much to my Magnificent 'Ad Augusta' team-mates Cat, Casper, Tom and Wrinkles ! You played so very well throughout the series, and we went so very close today to making the Grand Final. Close but no cigar.A Minor Premiership win is a good consolation anyway. OK 'Ad Augusta' teamies - we're just about there - 1 week away from Grand Final victory. We'll put this one away today, then  a- marchin' off to glory we go next Saturday. The very best of luck to you today Wrinkles, Cat, Tom, and Casper. Let's do this !  Let's do it well.
Good luck to you also today Cubesinstein and your fellow Rubiks, with special mention for my opponent today, long-time very astute and successful tipster Hesi. Although your Rubiks run comes to an end today, you can be very pleased with what you've achieved this comp. Bronze Medal will sit well on your mantelpiece.
I'll do my best with updates today - I'm not the most computer-savvy as Geoff will vouch for, no spreadsheets or anything but scoring only 1 match how hard can it be ?? . There's a couple of races close together at one stage, I'll do my best to get an update between those two races as well. If anyone finds any error in my scoring just yell out - unless the error is in favour of 'Ad Augusta' in which case please keep quiet !
    Cheer, everyone.
    Enjoy.

    OK, this is interesting.
Boom or bust day for our opponents 'Lay Down Misere' today ...needing a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
And the first thing I note is that John, Steve P, and Rees have exactly the same selections in Races 1,2,3 (Best Bet),4,5, 7 (Best Bet), 8,9, 10. Somehow  Rees went rogue in R6 and came up with something different  from the others, as lack of concentration and insufficient attention to detail saw him wonder away momentarily from the script.
Oh dear ...I was hoping I wouldn't have to strategise today, (cos it only hurts my brain when I start focusing on things ), but I s'pose I better phone Head Office in Ad Augusta Boulevard and ask to speak with the counter-tactics division to see what the geniuses can come with by way of a plan to repel what looks like is a sustained challenge today.

Big day for 'Ad Augusta' in the comp today !
Sitting nicely in 2nd place, and the move to No.1 spot seems inevitable.
Up against a strong team today,  but expecting that some depreciation will be occurring within rival ranks as the 'Mainly Dollarz' are reduced to 'Mainly Cents'.
As for me personally, it's the challenge of being up against 10/10 The Crucible, match-play champion extraordinaire ! I'll have to have all my wits about me so as not to end up where 10 before me have ended up ...tried and failed. I'm up for this ....now it's just the simple matter of convincing the 20 horses I have selected.
Good luck, TC !  Whether you win or lose today, you're a champion !
These are the  TC-breakers I've alighted upon :-
    1) 2x3        Jake The Muss / Lovelight 2) 2x6        Show The World / Cheeky Boy 3) 1x3        Swisswatch / Sacred Day               Best Bet New Zealand 4) 3x12      Neeson / Smart Thinking 5) 1x5         Suncraze /  Victorem 6) 1x8         Ventura Storm / Alward 7) 1x5         Thee Auld Floozie / Cote D'Or 8) 1x8         Ace High / Furore 9) 1x8         Redzel / In Her Time                         Best Bet Australia 10) 1x9       Humidor / Kementari Good luck to Brian and his Mainly Loose Change outfit. In recognition of your team's strong display to date, no Joker play from 'Ad Augusta' today.
Let's keep those winners rolling home, Tom, Cat, Casper & Wrinkles. We're doing well.
    Thanks, PJ.
    Enjoy the racing, everyone.

Might put a case to the boys to play our Joker this Saturday - against The Royle Family.
Making it back-to-back Joker plays for the Double AAs if we go ahead.
Will be risky, 'cos if our play didn't come off we'd have a real uphill battle to make the playoffs.
But sometimes ya gotta spend money to make money.
Pete is playing a blinder as Captain of The Royle Family, but underneath him there's a distinct air of fragility to my way of thinking.
    Opportunity appears to be knocking.
Another option is waiting for the Dark Horses, to see if we can do better than the 2 points we got last Saturday. Dark Horses had 2 players in PJ's 'Bottom 5' list, so again there's a distinct air of vulnerability for us` to capitalise upon.
    Decisions. Decisions.

Yeah will probably bite me but I thought he was too short, and I'm a fan of the two I've picked.  Tend to avoid backing horses who've had issues when they are that short. Chances are he will win but I won't risk it.
Wrinkles didn't pick Julius either so that helped my decision a bit - remember, despite many peoples' fascination with dollars earned, this is after all a H2H competition
    Good luck today!
