      Site Issues Forced Upgrade   08/01/2017

Hi I was forced to do an emergency upgrade to RaceCafe as we were suffering extended outages.  Everything seems OK now.  You will see a few visual issues with colours etc but I we get round to fixing those over the next few days.  The main priority was to get things up and running again. Cheers Admin

  1. Fair enough. Lookin forward to seeing the updated LGL.
  2. Who are you calling a midget? You'd need to stand on at least one phone book to look me in the eye Mr ex jockey.
  3. Rosehill r7 #2 Menari Definitely the best 3 year old colt at the moment but sometimes the best horse in the race doesn't always win (I had 6K on Pierro to win the Caulfield Guineas. He was ridden 4 wide the trip by Nash in an 8 horse field and got pipped by All Too Hard on the post!). If Menari had drawn a decent barrier then he'd probably be odds on and win but he hasn't and this is a hot field. They'll be white hot pressure from everywhere and he's yet to salute at 1400m so I reckon he's vulnerable today. No lives lost. Cheers short stuff
  4. If the cell phone coverage permits I'll put a few on course comments up. The wet weather put a few people off last year so there weren't as many on track as there could've been. If it's a fine day this year and potentially Winx's final race it could be a sell out which might make it a bit tricky using your cell phone in the area. Will give it a go though Tom.
  5. Very impressive! Olly reckons he's going better than last year! In his favour is that he's had the "Royal Lloyd Williams treatment" with very few starts and only one race in mind. With them changing the rules recently though regarding rehandicapping for the Caulfield Cup winners Lloyd might be wanting to squeeze another Cup out of him before the main event. Murray will be hoping not!
  6. Indeed! Not sure if you've been to The Valley before but the course is an experience in itself. There's no other course like it where you can get so close to the horses.
  7. Was a bit "Lonhroesque" the way he was boxed in, knocked around and still found a way to get up and win! It'll be a different story in the Guineas though Ohokaman. He won't have the luxury of a nice long straight like he did on Saturday if he gets into trouble at Caulfield!
  8. Hey Tom, yes I got my ticket the other day. I wouldn't be surprised if they retired the great mare after the race so might be the last chance you get to see her race. Looking forward to it.
  9. Lighten up short stuff. Funny you should mention Hokitika. I'll be there in the next few weeks after the Spring Carnival. Are they all midgets with a short person complex like you in that part of the world?
  10. Can't be bothered. All I know is that I'm still in the comp and Ernie isn't.
  11. I'm just someone who enjoys thoroughbred racing who likes to contribute in a public forum which is what this is designed for Leigh. Ernie mentioned he won the first 4 yesterday in this thread also but no mention of him skiting? Why the inconsistency? I'm happy that Ernie won the first 4 which is why I liked his post. Why can't you be happy for the punters to get a win? I'm sure there are a lot of people interested in what I choose to bet on which is the reason why the internet traffic increases when I post. You unhappy you picked Redzel yesterday?
  12. That fact that you've responded to my post indicates that you're interested otherwise why would you have responded? And I didn't have any losing tickets yesterday Leigh so no losing tickets to post.
  13. What about Ernie short stuff? Fancy picking the best 2 year old colt in the country last week and the best 3 year old filly in the country this week? Clearly he was on a suicide mission!
  14. I guess I had the last laugh Ernie. Good to see my bet of the day get up. Bye bye
  15. So you think the drunk, drugged up feral heterosexuals can do a better job of bring up the children so they should have right to marry but not homosexuals, No? It doesn't make cents, No?
