Great that they are now paid out in full, including for multis. 
Not that we have many in today’s racing, but they can be really frustrating when they occur.

Just need them to adopt fully the protest payout like Oz does.

Everything they "give" us obviously has to come from somewhere, so we don't win in the long run. Even through it is bad news when a dead heat happens, half the divvie is still better than a nose away from the win. I don't think it should be paid in full. 

I've always disagreed with the payout around the dead heat or third too. A place bet is a place bet is a place bet. All "placed" horses should have their divvies shared, i.e; the "place" pot is split 4 ways when there is a dead heat for third, as there are thus 4 placed horses. 

They'll only rob Peter to pay Paul in any situation where it looks like you're getting a free lunch.

Do they not have protest payout?

They have it for NZ and Australian racing - but depends on your elite level I believe.
