Yea mate the snow day.Buriton Bailey winning the last...track covered in snow.

As much as i love Methven.I think the South Bay at Kaikoura would give it a run for the most picturesque track in the country.Nothing beats the beautiful blue pacific ocean in the background as the horses thunder down the back straight.

The day started off well..but it didn't really carry on...tho i was able to snare another winner later in the day.There is always another day.

R1-12 Gil Favor.Nicely bred 3yr old who wasn't bad when 4th a few weeks back.Will be a big winning chance with natural improvement. R2-8 Portalegre.First starter from the All Stars barn.Won his latest trial earlier this month.Should be hard to beat here. R3-13 Days Of Redemption.Has not been far away in his last 2 runs on the grass.2nd line draw here but his manners are good.Solid chance here. R4-1 Christian Lady.Finished ok for 3rd once clear last time out.Strikes a draw where she can dictate.Can go close to winning here. R5-10 Soney Beatt.Is fresh up but has gone some nice races in that state before.Loves the grass and has won twice here.Can pop up at nice odds. R6-14 The Kaik.Just grabbed late in the piece last time out.Has won on the grass before and looks a solid chance here. R7-17 Awaytocullect.Hasn't been that bad in his last 2 runs.Strikes a 2nd line draw here.Can lob up at nice money. R8-12 Star Galleria.Been going well up north.Missed last weeks run.Is apparently going well in track work.First grass track run shouldn't bother him.Nice chance here. R9-13 Kingslayer.Been going well this season.Having his first grass track run but shouldn't be a worry.Looks a good chance in an even field. R10-5 Missie Castleton.Just got denied again last week when running yet another 2nd.Will put herself in the race and maybe today can be the day. R11-7 Stompem.Done the donkey work in front last time out and was beaten by a handy sort.Could push forward again and give them something to chase.

Well i am surprised that i'm still infront after today's efforts..was pretty average....the chasers are coming however.

Think Luke goes pretty well in the courtroom,which is why he left Trackside.A shame that he did,as he definitely knows his stuff when it comes to racing.

R1-8 Eastwood Chieftain.Got checked back to the rear early on last week,and that put paid too him.Previous runs were ok.Good chance here. R2-8 Zsa Zoe.Was game in defeat in behind a handy sort when sitting parked.Looks a big win chance here. R3-10 Scorcha.Nicely bred filly who is on debut.Has won her last 2 trials.Meets some other handy maidens here but is a strong chance here. R4-16 Held To Ransom.Got home really well from the back to grab 3rd.Meets a smiliar field and he can go real close too winning this. R5-4 Idle Moose.Solid win last week.Goes up in grade for this,but he is honest.Be thereabouts again. R6-8 Hayden's Meddle.Been so consistent lately and he was game when 2nd behind a handy type last week.Big chance here. R7-9 Monty Python.Just missed last time out.Consistent type who has been racing good fields.Not without a hope here. R8-7 Nimah Franco.Faces a step up after a powerful last week.Handy mare who can feature here. R9-14 Pro Surfer.Nice win on debut then got it all wrong in the score up last time out.If he behaves then he should be winning this.

Your doing a great job on the scoring.Can't imagine that it's any easy thing too do.Your probably seeing numbers whenever you close your eyes at night.

Not really sure where to put this,as it's going to cover both codes.But am thinking of running a comp over Cup Week next month.Comp will start on Day 1 at Riccarton,then include Cup Day at Addington(Tuesday) Riccarton on Wednesday...Ashburton trots on Thursday..Addington Trots on Friday and then Cup Day at Riccarton on Saturday.Am thinking it will be a simple pick on horse per race,for a $1ew bet,but in 1 race you chose a Best Bet which will be a $2ew bet.I do have the whole of that week off work,so could possibly update scores etc after each race,unless of course my darling wife wants to drag me out somewhere,and on the first day of the comp i could well have Cricket all day,so no scores would be done until i get home.I am thinking of a cash prize for the first 3 home...but am sorting those details out.Feel free to comment etc.

As I said before I used to post on here all the time,but felt like they weren't getting much attention so thought I'd try some where else.And I've also said that I have no preference over the 2 racing sites...I'm a racing fan and im supporting both sites...and I definitely won't be starting anything malicious.

Yea am not sure how i feel about being in front with a number of races to go.Not really sure what my plan of attack is/has been.Try and pick consistently and throw in a couple of roughies and hopefully keep the points ticking over.Certainly an enjoyable comp to be a part of.
