  1. I didn't bag Niki Piki's trainers. I offered my suggestion that it was a wet tracker and it must be ridden forward - a sentiment shared by many on this forum.
  2. Oh please. Get your head out of the sand.
  3. Also, anyone ever tell you that you're a humble winner? They should be shot.
  4. To be fair Midge - I was hoping your best pal would continue training Consensus right through its campaign. Oh well.
  5. Never say never Midget.
  6. Exactly - as I said earlier today, it's lead or bust for Niki.
  7. Here's a tip - don't waste money on those 'silly' bets. They are eating into your bankroll for enjoyment purposes only.
  8. Niki Piko Milo was disappointing last start. Needs to find the lead on a slow/heavy track, regardless of whether the trainers say it's not a wet tracker.
  9. I thought April 1st had been and gone? Hilarious Porky.
  10. All I got was a free $150 bet because I haven't used my account in a month.
  11. Get used to it - not changing till August 31st. I wonder how many people will jump ship and add to the leakage?
  12. I tipped that First Four out and to record such a measly payout is rather misleading.
  13. I understand the pools etc and there was only $333 in the First Four pool, but this won't make punters happy (me included) and they will go elsewhere, if they haven't already.
  14. The TAB paid out $375 for the First Four at Ballarat, Race 1. Sportsbet.com.au paid out over $2000. R.I.P NZ TAB
  15. The hole was heavily reported on at the time.
  16. If Ellerslie was used every two weeks, it'd end up looking like Riccarton did during their carnival...
  17. They're basically saying "We can't afford it"... much like Sky TV said regarding football and golf.
  18. The TAB sent me a simplified explanation. See a few posts above.
  19. Dear Daryl, Thank you for your below email. We are currently in the negotiation and transactional period to confirm the future of commingling with Australia market. Unfortunately, the situation has various issues involved across the Tasman. It is the top priority for our organisation to work closely with our international partners to conclude the new agreement. Until then, we will be continue commingling on Win and Place bet types only on Australian racings for all customers. As our Elite customer, you will continue to receive benefits and rewards under the Elite Rewards framework. Please feel free to contact me if I can be any further assistance. Once again, we appreciate your feedback and support to NZ TAB and the Elite services unit. We will keep everyone updated with the commingling issue. Kind Regards
  20. Why would mainstream outlets care? What would their angle be? Most information is based on hear' say so the story wouldn't be worth a tin of salt.
  21. Was it something to do with qualifying?
  22. That was a good hurdle win for Sea King. How does that tri pay only $218 with the two favourites unplaced?
  23. And I would imagine that was inside racing, which covers every Australian meeting to which TAB has no control over.
