Just a thought! Given the atrocious weather that is about to hit them, I would abandon today and hold it in a couple of days time.  This thought is based on the weather here on the Kapiti Coast with the weather moving north. The rain is heavy and it’s blowing an absolute gale, and set to continue most of the day, thus making it extremely unpleasant for everyone involved.  The forecast is very good from Tuesday on.

Agreed. She has both trained and driven harness horses herself as well, which puts her two steps ahead of most broadcasters before she even picks up the microphone. Harness racing was in her blood from the day she was born, and it shows. If we want the knowledge we'll have to get used to the accent 🤣 Mind you, we got well used to her on the Aussie harness coverage, so it was great news when they announced she was coming over to grace our coverage. 

I’ve been watching a bit of the Harness racing of late.  They all should take a leaf out of Brittany book, the new lady brought over from Australia to be part of the Harness presentation team.  She certainly knows her stuff and is so professional with it. 

Agree I feel it should of been fixed with the renovation but they wanted to keep the tracks "character" whatever that is.

Cool Aza Beel also become Cool Aza Bean after Doomben R5 when the winners pedigree was being read out.  Im pretty forgiving for the odd slip up of a horses name but cmon now Cool Aza Beel isnt exactly an unknown in the racing game
