Steveo13 16 Report post Posted March 1 Wellington. Race 1 Wingman – Tidy run when 3rd at trials, big drop down in class, will be hard to roll here. One the Lonely - Preforming up to the breeding, worked nicely on 1000m on Thursday. EW Ballon D’or – 1400m key good after running on late over 1200m, other with a be chance. Race 2 Argyle, superbly bred, nice 3rd, great draw and 1400m, looks a special. Written In Rock, stepping up to 1400m will help, with being run off his feet over 1000m, dam won 6, so we can expect some improvement. Carter John, Great 3rd from a gate on 3, not so lucky here, chance. Nozumi, - Tricky draw, but fit, can win here. Race 3 Truce – Beautifully drawn, ran on well when 4th, looks the one to beat. Coney Island – Tina hops on, nice work when winning recent trial. Will be fitter for that. EW He’s A Batter – Maybe 7 but looks to be coming into some solid form. Lightly tried, happy to stick with. Race 4 Titicara – 4th at recent trial to ready for this. Is progressive, will go close. Danjuro – Finally worked out what he was meant to do at the races. Don’t dismiss. Ruby Rocks – Drop down in grade, won well 2 back, will led and catch some catching. Race 5 Dresse Par Joli – Well bred mare who has been lightly raced, no issues with 2100m, expecting a big run here. Lady’s Secret, close third behind Danjuro last run, bring her into the reckoning. Unscripted – eye-catching last view runs, due, and in the mix. Call A Friend – Joe hops on, GG hops off, huge run when 2nd, will go very close in a even lineup. Race 6 Sinbin – progress type, placed 2nd up. Very capable of taking this out. Rayet – Better than last start, good draw, will be close up. Ivy Dazzler – Ran on from a horror draw, maps to get the run here, loves it here, can win. Race 7 Insatiable – Stiff last time at the races when favorite, can surprise. Silent is gold – ex Hong Kong galloper who has run well this time in. Good draw and will go close. Idyllic – Drop back from Group one, can bounce back and win. Race 8 Leica Lucy – Wins Race 9 Khanshe – Drops in well here, Happy to stay with. I am Blue – Dropping back to 1600m helps, expect better run. Phats – Fitter for run at trials, freshen and ready to go.
