IT’S AMERILA: Rated 59, should find this race easier. Hard to beat.
JAZZ WITH DRAGON: Performs well on this surface and will settle just off the lead. Worth considering.

SHOWBASTIAN COE: Capable of running sub-56, will be tough to catch if in the right mood.
WRITTEN UP: Drawn wide but has a good fresh record and has won on this course and distance in around 58.4.

ON ALERT: Held up at the wrong time here on May 5th, has a poor draw but will finish strong.
TIKEMYSON: Enjoyed the soft 7 at Wellington, unlucky here on May 5th, has a chance if given clear air.
DEALORNODEAL: Will have learned a lot from her 3 runs over 2000m, from a good stable, and is close to finding form.

JUSTASKPERCEY: Dropping back from R75, with 4 kgs off, brings the 7-year-old into contention. Likely to apply pressure from the 600m, big chance.
HAYATE: Can't be left out even from draw 10, with a top jockey and stable. E/W.
PATATUIM SIXTY-SIX: Drawn wide but showed promise at Wellington and is improving. Worth considering at odds.
