On Thursday I put telext on at about 10am and saw a horse i liked was paying 21 on the tote. So I logged on to tab account to see the FF odds, and he was paying $18 and $7 so I immediately put 10 for a win and 10 for a place. I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure that before I hit submit it said return $180 etc. I couldn't believe my luck because I thought he will be one of the favourites, so after five minutes I checked my activity report and it said $10 on at $7 and $10 on at $1.90 a place? Ends up the horse ran fourth. Has this happened anyone else?

And this shitty Monday/Tuesday deal is locked in for four years. And after that -what chance is there that our surviving clubs have of regaining a Sunday date - probably zero because the chariots won't want to give them up. Is there any subsidy given to the poor clubs that have to run these money losing Mon/Tuesdays?
