Correct. Also the void in Melbourne for Darley will be filled internally, there will be only one trainer.There is a possibility Snowden will take over O'Shea's stables though this is not certain yet.

Rumphole, R.Laing can hardly be branded a jumps trainer. He has won the 2yo race on Melbourne Cup day 2 out of the last 3 years as well as the Maribyrnong Plate. He has trained an Australian Cup winner and 4 other G1 winners to boot. He is one very capable trainer, has a great eye for a horse and never gets the hight profile horses. For sheer training ability he could match anyone.

An extremely popular bit, it is now being used with success in many countries. A kind bit that problem horses react well to and the amount of leading trainers in Australia utilising it speaks for itself.

Nz is full of disillusioned horse trainers, many of whom are blaming the world for the untenable position they find themselves in. Their cynical atitude affects everyone around them and they wouldnt for a moment give a hoot about taking 2 minutes to put in a word for an ex staff member no matter how conscienscious they may have been. How sad!

Oliver is a cheat that put $10,000 on an opposition horse when he had a ride in the race. In many countries he would be incarcerated for a considerable period and the penalty he received makes a mockery of the whole Australian racing industry.

What a slaugher yesterday! First he misses the kick, then he panics and dives for a run that was never obtainable. Loyalty and sentiment can cost one a lot of money in racing industry.

Cauthen was always going to be vunerable over a 1000m and his 1st run at MV., his tight odds were ridiculous. A good run from him though and I will follow his progress with interest.
