ZOUSTYLE REMAINS UNBEATEN IN SIX STARTS

How Zoustyle pulls up from his comeback win at Doomben yesterday will determine whether the three-year-old steps up to open company or continues to race against his own age.

Ridden by Brad Stewart, Zoustyle kicked clear in the last 200 metres to score by 1-3/4 lengths over Plague Stone in the JRA Plate (1200m) for three-year-olds at Doomben.

Zoustyle has now won all six starts, with trainer Tony Gollan considering his options with the gelding.

“There are plenty of options for him. We can go to the Moreton Cup at Doomben in a fortnight and then on to the Stradbroke,” Gollan said.

“Or we can just head to the three-year-old race on Stradbroke day and then look at something later in the carnival. It will all come down to how he does in the next few days. We have always managed his career carefully.”
