Winx… want to make 10 cents?

Winx unbackable

Winx is paying just  $1.10 with the New Zealand TAB to win her final Sydney race Saturday.

Stablemate Unforgotten and Le Romain are considered her only real challengers at $13 in betting for the George Main Stakes..

Trainer Chris Waller has always said he will retire Winx when she shows signs that she has had enough. But while she continues to win, there is no reason to end her career.

“She is just constantly in the zone and everything is going to plan. The jump-out last week was perfect. It was just enough to keep on top of her with the four weeks between runs,” Waller said. “She will love stepping up to the mile.”

Worth every cent

Lincoln Falls’ 2000 Guineas price will get a chop after an awesome win on debut at Woodville today.

Trainer Lisa Latta was so nervous before the race she didn’t want to discuss the 3-y-o’s prospects.

There was no need for the tension, the Dundeel colt justifying his $2 price with ease.

Big money offer rumoured

Nick Bishara will know by Tuesday if the sale of his fine filly Verry Elleegant to Australia will go through.

“I’m just about to finish negotiations today,” he said.

It’s speculated there has been a $600,000 offer on the table.

Sick day

Bridget Grylls won’t be riding at Ruakaka tomorrow  because of illness.
