Te Akau has scrapped NZ Cup plans for Our Abbadean, not that it was serious about a start.

“We just nominated her for just about everything. She’s had a freshen-up since Hastings and will be set for the Captain Cook (Trentham December),” said trainer Jamie Richards.

“I’d like to think she could win a weight-for-age or two over summer.”

Feelar remains the Cup favourite ($8) but a big mover is Woodville winner Duelllcious, whose price has been cut from 41s to 16s.

Te Akau says Tarzino and Windsor Plate winner Melody Belle will now be aimed at the Railway on New Year’s Day.
