PETERS AIMING PAIR AT THE EVEREST

High profile West Australian owner Bob Peters is hoping to know in the coming weeks whether he will have at least one runner in The Everest (1200m).

Peters recently announced two of his best horses, Arcadia Queen and Enticing Star, would be transferred to champion trainer Chris Waller for Sydney spring carnival campaigns. He is keen to get both horses into The Everest and has already been in preliminary discussions with slot holders.

“I’m talking to quite a few of the slot holders but no decision has been made as yet,” Peters said.

“But both their programs will be aimed in that direction. “The slot holders are probably leaning towards Arcadia Queen but a couple of them have been talking the other way. Hopefully something gets sorted out in the next couple of weeks.”
