Smart Kiwi filly Verry Elleegant has been sold to Australia.
Noted for her brilliant acceleration, she will leave for her new home tomorrow.
Trainer Nicholas Bishara said it was sad to see her go but the money was too good to turn down.
Bishara shared ownership of Verry Elleegant with the filly’s breeder Don Goodwin and six others. Bishara also owned and trained the filly’s dam Opulence, who won twice.
The Kiwis retain 25 percent of the filly, Fifty percent is now held by clients of master trainer Darren Weir, who will do the training from his Ballarat base.
Bishara hopes to attend the Melbourne Cup carnival where Verry Elleegant will likely chase a big payday.
