Australian mare Houtzen will remain in Britain and race at least once more.
The four-year-old daughter of I Am Invincible finished eighth as a $34 chance in last Tuesday’s Group 1 King’s Stand Stakes (1006m) at Royal Ascot after slipping at the start.
Edmonds Racing issued a tweet on Monday morning announcing Houtzen’s future plans.
“We have decided to transfer Houtzen to Martyn Meade for her final run before being served by Lope De Vega,” the tweet read.
“Good luck with her she has been great for our stable and clients.”
