GODOLPHIN HAS THREE-PRONGED ATTACK

Godolphin will be attempting to win back-to-back Group 1 Kingsford-Smith Cups at Eagle Farm on Saturday with the operation hoping Home Of The Brave, Trekking or Encryption can emulate last year’s winner Impending in the feature.

James Cummings is hoping the rain arrives in Brisbane, to enhance the prospects of Home Of The Brave.

“He ran in the Hall Mark Stakes first-up and that’s a race that has become a very good form race,” Cummings said.

“Home of the Brave is entitled to enjoy the 1300 metres more than the 1200 metres first-up, as he showed last preparation when he won the Theo Marks at Rosehill.”
