Really like Ascension in R4 after it flew home late first-up, but $2.70 Win is too short for my liking in a big field

R4 Shining Pearl $4.00   (dam Te Toro Pearl was a good sprinter who liked it wet;4kg off)
R6 Jakama Crystal $2.05
R7 Procella $2.05
R8 The Exponent $3.70
R9 Awhina $4.50
R10 Sulabella $11

I do like the set up for Busustow in the Straddie. 

Bit of a forget run last time, pretty open field and it reminds me a bit of Stefi last year. $18 is enough to find out, at any rate.

How good is Procul Boy ? Has to be the most promising winter horse I have seen for a long time , was pricking his ears from the time he hit the front , still heaps to learn , and will be even better when he gets up further as he was off the bit the whole way .

R3 Brisbane Cup - Campaldino and Etna Rossa look the obvious.

The upsetter is Star Vega. $21/4 - Terrible form but on heavy tracks he hates. Freedmans have persisted and If EF continues to dry out, his form last year against Smokin Romans and Sea King would bring him right into contention here. Best form anti clockwise a query though.

Hey Pete , Sivoo in R5 tomorrow at 71s , bog track , got to be worth a gold coin . I have actually backed Lurch at 15s .

Voice of Ohio in R3 , massive punt last start but got a long way back and finished on , drawn 1 tomorrow , home track , got to be a huge chance .

Chiefs definitely the best chance but $4.80 looks good value for the Brumbys to me. I'm  a win bet only person but a 15 point line looks attractive if you are into that sort of thing.

Yeah I reckon another half dozen strides it wins it , I actually forgot all about it during the race till the last bit . Shame that great price will be lost .

I got a good result on Tregor in the last so the day was all right .

Voice of Ohio was disappointing on the run it got , not sure I'll go again .

Cheers , she one tough nut , she's had 3 different little ops on her wind , but just gives her all , just wants to be a racehorse , and very versatile , back or forward in running , not scared of getting bumped and bashed , firm , soft , synthetic , nothing bothers her . And from all accounts a great doer .

Wish I had had more like her .
