Ohokaman 6,313 Report post Posted November 17 I sacked BENEFACTOR after last start and see she is in Woodville R7 today. $12/3 but never won on heavy track so surprised it’s running. Change of jockey interesting. TRAV ($5) probably best here and PUKE PARK ( $21 ? ) look better bets, the latter with 3kg off particularly. Ohokaman 6,313 Report post Posted November 20 Three more running at Cranbourne….. R3 Ahuriri…$3.20 surely her race with D Lane on. Drops from R96 to 70 !!? R7 Stablemate Konasana also gets Lane. $4 short enough and prefers rain but hard to beat. R8 Deepour…one of my favourites who has been disappointing. Now with Nick Ryan, nice fresh up run at Flemington. Will get me again $35 / $7.50. Charlie E

There is no doubt Mark is a good trainer , but I am like you I found Jamie to be better . The horses seemed more consistent with their form , rather than being in or out all the time

Ohokaman 6,313 Report post Posted November 29 Had an early bet at Caulfield R10. Queues Likely @ $21. Has won third up, better this way round, if it gets heavy so much the better. Now into $17. Good field but worth a punt. Rachel King hopefully will have a good day as Arapaho looks very hard to beat for the stable too. Just wasn't in the mood today l reckon. its racing.....you have both been around long enough to know the variables ,Hokes knows what he is doing so if it didnt pan out you need to find fault elsewhere.....biggest issue is not being on-course to see how your animal shapes up......in my experience its 80% the Jockey, ........A Classic the other day was Ridgeview Vicky.....if you watch the replay you will be gobsmacked at how poorly she was ridden, ive been a trackgoer for 40 years and have never seen such a poor ride on a horse with no early speed,..4 wide throughout 2nd to last with the winner coming from behind her.....i would put him out for 2 months, i like his Horsemanship and respect his ability...that effort at Avondale was insanely good....to see him trying to ride her out turning in 7 wide being checked was bizarre....are our jockeys that bad ? its no wonder Kennedy turns up and wins everything

There were plenty that didn’t handle it despite having wet track form. That’s racing as you say….
