"We've got Will Stanley on in the Midway so the 3kg claim will also be a bonus."

I backed the winner but really rate FL so watched her closely , from the draw I would be spewing if I was the owner .

Exactly why you can't really punt here , just can't trust most of the riders .

Sorry nomates, can't tell you.

But you can watch the Invercargill lads and their First Love (Debby??) on the posted video - R18 due to sexual nature of content.

They clearly weren't practicing safe sex though - that lad halfway up (pardon the pun) the B pillar could easily have slipped and hurt himself

Ran 1.22  flat with the handbrake on from the corner then couldnt pick up with a sharp sprint from the winner. Few checks early  in the home straight and Checkmate just another Doyle hitout. You know the odds, add jockey variables now beat them...looks like many ride for luck here without creating their own

Drew 2 and showed absolutely no motivation to hold a reasonable position , it's very poor , I'll be interested to see if they stick with him next time .

Not a bad day yesterday and with a bit more luck could have been great.

First Five was ridiculous odds at $26. Might have known Warnie would knock off Private Eye for the Maher stable who had 7 winners in Oz yesterday.

Roughie Hughes went ok in the worst inside ground and only 4l from winner.

He will keep.

For anyone who likes backing an outsider Fat Albert is worth a nibble in Race 1 at Matamata.

Currently 50/1 but probably should be paying half that. Has been going some decent races lately and looked very good winning a trial at the end of September.
