In the mid 80’s Don moved north to manage Clearwood Park Stud at Pukekohe. He brought Imperial Guard wit him and also managed Beechcraft and Full On Aces. Richard took over Nottingham Park and stood the stallion Dark Fortune before he moved to Pukekohe himself and started training.
