Pick two horses in each of the 12 races listed below, and nominate two races as your best bet races (earn double points in best bet races). Points scoring - you will earn points if your horses win or place, with the points earned depending on the horse's closing win dividend on the tote. The table below sets out the points earned. Remember there is also a prize for highest individual total in week 2 (along with the prize for highest individual total across all four rounds). If we have new entrants in week 2 I will firstly slot them into any gaps if any of the 49 below don't show up, and then I will add them in where seeds 50, 51, etc... would have been - see original "how it works" thread. If we have more no shows than new entrants the first thing I will do is to take Mr Gee out of Match P and slot him into another match in place of the lowest seedest absentee (just want to avoid having one match with 4 players while others have 2 players). Confused? Trust me, it will work and will all be clear very early in the day. You just have to submit your picks. The Gub ,The very pretty Insider or the Brush ? Do we back old school like Richie or go wide with Mr Gee who has done well in the past? The Cubemeister thinks we go with Cubes Or some one better Is there a market ? I'm expecting big things of Pondy (good pedigree) and wouldn't be surprised if our sponsor has a good day - he'll be cock-a-hoop after his horse wins on Friday. But if i had to pick one I'd go for Alan1234 - he's been owning the comps recently.
