There's the tremendous story of the family from Levin who bought the Tivaci weanling, and mare I think, for circa $1,500. They turned over the Tivaci youngster for $250k on Saturday at Book 2. The Rodgers from Kendayla Park would have had a smile wider than the Auckland harbour bridge about 5.40pm on Saturday. They shelled out $2k for the weanling Tavistock half sister to Roch N Horse, a decision amplified by the run Tavistock has been on, especially his fillies.
