Hasn't Shocking turned the corner. Looked likely to fall into that awful tag of being classed as non commercial a couple of years ago. He's batting 5.6% SW to runners which is a decent strike rate. Done it off significantly smaller books which is interesting. He adds nicely to Rich Hill's diverse roster.

Yes interesting what the perception is out there.

Breeders would be surprised to see the list of the top ranked stallions in NZ of SW to runners.

My calculation is there are only 5 stallions with crops aged 3yos or older at stud in NZ that have SW to runners above 5%.

Looks pretty good to me Nasrullah, interesting that outside Sweynesse their average age is 19. Big gap to the next brigade, man do we need the Almanzors etc to work

Shocking has had 7 SH stakes winners for the season to 27 Feb. Savabeel is on top with16 followed by Snitzel on 15, the only others above him are IAI and Fastnet Rock. Written Tycoon also has 7.
