All this info on HRNZ website... Go into site and click RACING section and all this info available ...Dates , upcoming programmes ,Major Races......all the information you could possibly need ! Iraklis you are correct, we are 4 days away from the new season and the only information is as what Nelli pointed out, listed and group races. Very hard to plan ahead with no dates and venues listed. All the information that most people require is there in BLACK and WHITE with some colour charts included. What info is required , that is not given on HRNZ website. In one minute 12 secs I found all the info that is needed ! All the dates are stated under Racing/programme/dates........month by month up to Aug 1. All the group races , the new exciting series such as Country cups , Harness millions , ratings series etc etc the Race. This came out on about 28 October ,the ink had not even dried , the RACE conditions were still to be finalised and other small print still in draft form. The Industry is tight on money , all these NEW concepts depend on the week to week betting figures which are unknown and still being hamstrung by COVID and now traffic lights...maybe a bit of uncertainty there ! The calendar is intended to be a game changer , so many changes.....it even includes a meeting at Addington in December which has 8 x Group 1's and should help somewhat in filling the Void left by the Jewels day...that day that in the past was funded by the poor addicted non-racing folk of NZ feeding Pokie machines ! Oh how many cry about the loss of the Jewels ,even tho this day at Addington is an exciting addition , and the RACE is added for Cambridge's big day..some crying about this event funded by rich pricks....from the poor addicted to the rich ! Some of you don't like either. Southern Harness have a $100k Invercargill Cup to do their stuff ,and the Country Cups will be exciting if the Clubs put some effort in ! At this stage Tricky Dick will point out that the season now runs to December 31.......and having the exact dates to July 31 , with the rest in draft form in a disruptive year falls short of us keyboard warriors 'standards' which is based on perfection. Back up the bus , and the disruptions caused by COVID , the lack of face to face , much of the consultancy done by ZOOM , late change of season dates , horses birthday etc etc. Maybe Michael House will come on and if he has a moment from transporting over 20 horses to the North Island in disruptive weather he will explain it all...he was part of the group making this decision. We all know all racing may stop or regions may depending on covid and its variants . But probable plan better than giving up in 7 months time. This is a minor point but you wish to assert authority on most topics and indeed you succeed a good proportion of the time ...but yet to meet a person who is smarter than everyone else 100 %...
