What has become of New Zealand ?

Recommended Posts

Out of interest we were looking to find the statistics and info on when a Family consisted of 3 children and 2 adults to be able to go to the movies or circus, zoo etc as a family unit in the late 1970's as that's what the Mathematicians claimed the 'average' family consisted of, this despite the fact many rural families were often larger than 6 children.

We were mortified to read that in 1970 the total number of UNEMPLOYED was a total of 983 people as per this article from 2010 to the phenomenal amount it is now and growing by the day bc our PM and her associates are not disclosing how many people are not eligible for Welfare assistance if they are married and / our living with a partner which gives false statistics.

What a shocking state of affairs we have all got ourselves in bc of stupid fighting over who was in New Zealand first, land claims and the billions of dollars they have cost, add to the mental distress for all parties and who was ever going to pay for them, including lawyers who have creamed it, - obviously more migrants were required to make up the ongoing shortfall of taxes to pay for these people who keep asking for and receiving handouts.

What a shameful burden and history we are leaving future generations.

It's overdue those who keep causing all these problems for others, when life was far more enjoyable for all, we were a prosperous and healthy bunch with a great clean green and sustainable economy, are held to account whilst they are still alive.

The current situation we all find ourselves in today was 100% preventable.

Look how we've changed New Zealand in 38 years

In 1970 only 983 New Zealanders were on the unemployment benefit and only 2 per cent of working-aged people were on benefits of any kind. The domestic purposes benefit (DPB) had not yet been invented.
