Why the difference

Recommended Posts

Yesterday the trots at ascot had a bar and food

The owners just scanned in, no forms to fill out

People were allowed inside the grandstand,

Today at gallops forms had to be filled in, names   crossed off list.

No bar, food, no one allowed in grandstand..Had to watch races from outside.

But there was also a farmers market there.. People every where. just scanned in.

Food drinks all available..People mixing. Many had no masks.

Seems different rules for different folk

Gallops are all centrally run. Locals have had all the enthusiasm beaten out of them and don't really give a stuff anymore - and who can blame them really.

Write to and ask your local District Health Officer to report the fact there's been zilch cases of Covid19 in your community and why have they not rescinded, as in cancelled the State Of Emergency Powers for your region, and request the act is also revoked if you feel it's appropriate.

It's up to appointed local Health Boards to follow up on this and report back to Government, if Covid19 was so 'dangerous' and contagious it would have continued to spread around the South Island where wasn't it first found?

Look up the Public Health Bill/ Act for 1869 - it details the manner it was set up for local districts in it - see Papers Past for the years around it to understand the context behind the way the Public Health Act was set up.

No surprise at all when Jacinda tells you that you can have people around to visit but they cant use your toilet, then Robbinson says its ok for people to use your toilet but only one at the time.

No one has a bloody clue, its an embracement that they get a pay packet. Reading your comment it is so comical that different groups are using different rules. Anyway you have no concerns of covid the nazis just want to keep you all under there control. I really look forward to next election to see how much of the South Island is still Red.

It's quite logical BB. Rainbow Robertson is probably used to using toilets two at a time so this is definitely a safety measure.

@Dingle@Huey@Blue@Tauhei Notts@Baz (NZ)@Gruff@Basil brush@We're Doomed

They seem to have overlooked the fact we have pre-existing laws and Rule of Law.

One has to question how any of those in Parliament who have Law degrees ever achieved them, must've been those fake documents or plagiarisms from on the internet like so many who have grown up with computers and the internet at school these days.

They certainly don't seem conversant with all manner of Common Laws.

Remember MBovis?

Some of the same names have popped up, a number of them are DOC and MBIE backgrounds...

Looking fwd to GR been jailed like his accountant father bc he's cooking the books..and as Kelvin Davis is Police Minister why isn't he adhereing to the Laws of the land?
There hasn't been a State of Emergency ever in living history to dish out injections for any virus and why should there be?
