scooby3051 10,930 Report post Posted October 9, 2021 What a gutsy Group 1 win by Probabeel today tough as and was the best horse on the day...she is a super valuable mare and must be right in the Cox Plate now. Good day for Cambridge Stud owners too, well done to all concerned with this super tough mare. Memphis3 1,263 Report post Posted October 9, 2021 Yes gutsy as win.Thought she was gone 50 out but kept digging.$7.50 on the NSW TAB if you had the kahunas to back against the favourite. Funny game the old racing game.$1.25 shot not in first two in a five horse race.Who knows she might of been keeping a bit up her sleeve for the Cox. mckenzie 608 Report post Posted October 9, 2021 She was tough today. Good to see her get the 2000m monkey off her back. If she gets a good track in the Cox Plate she’ll be right there at the end.

Must be worth some big dollars now no matter what she does in the future. the Lindsay's deserve a real top liner after all they have invested in racing

Dynamite 320 Report post Posted October 10, 2021 Our so called unbeatable star , and Cox Plate winner , was clearly undone by the muddling pace but showed very little. It was interesting to see his 4 fetlock joints bandaged up , which may explain he has soreness issues , and this is properly why they will be wanting rAin before the Cox Plate , where the winner yesterday wants a drought from now till Cox Plate day. Probabeel was very game and dour yesterday and had her down down on the right stride. Prebble won the race by taking the inside runs but still a creditable victory by a wonderful mare. Ohokaman 5,842 Report post Posted October 12, 2021 Don’t see Probabeel winning the Cox Plate on her WFA rating of 101.8 on Saturday. Will need to be much better than that to win it you would think. Zaaki didn’t like that track and ran way below his top but has best ratings of 110 / 104.5 so still the one to beat, particularly with any rain. Protective, not an indication of any soreness.

They ran the race in 2.01.51, that I think is a good time? Does Zaaki like it with more moisture? Cox plate is a tough last 800 for sure, never mind the prior 1200..
