john legend 743 Report post Posted September 13, 2021 I know not a sexy topic at all BUT.... the extension of noms has been thrashed out ,however when they had 135 noms on monday and now 120 their woolly thinking backfired..... I believe it is unfair on trainers /owners who do everything on time then others can peruse the noms and decide to race or not esp hard on maidens as preference can put in a late nom ahead of an existing nom. A few races missed and problem will be solved... It is amusing when clubs add nominations have closed except for races 123456789 and 10 !! Are we all at the tea party with ALICE ? hsvman 294 Report post Posted September 15, 2021 Should be closed noms so you nominate if you think your horse is ready to race and then you see it in a feild . Have high scratching stand down penalties so people don’t just scratch. The north island is terrible for extending noms they might as well make the time later .
