Guinness 42 Report post Posted August 20, 2021 Sad to see the likes of McKee going, an absolute gentleman, but will the disappearance of the boomers bring about a change in the industry that they have sucked the life out of?? A bit of a mis-fire there Guinness. The demise of the industry rests with the "office" bludgers, not those that roll up their sleeves and dedicate their lives to the noble beast. Can't see the millennials resurrecting the situation via Twitter , Facebook , Tinder and "hands-off" training regimes. Guinness 42 Report post Posted August 20, 2021 I think the "office" is also full of BOOMERS isnt it? Also the Boards, committees, RIU, NZTR etc and any other body that controls the industry. You only have to go to any meeting and see all the bald and grey heads.

That is true, but the problem is there isn't the young ones interested enough in racing to get involved to replace the older generation. We're Doomed and Gruff

That's a legacy passed on through the generations from the McLaren-Michie family who are running the show from SAGE UK and Donald MIchie'S OBSEsSION with Computation which incidentally has been around thousands of years before him. These people have no clues about the real world and are extraordinarily insular, narrow minded beings. That family pushed for STEM to be focused on in the education system in schools and universities in the 1990's, now the system here has added an A in it to become STEAM.  That info is readily available online and in real paper books and educational resources. There was much discussion in the 1990's how certain occupations were not 'Sexy', yes that's the word these people used, all in recent archives from that era of time. The education system is screwball and balance of scales needs to return. See the links we have put about The World in 2030 in Mainstreet Cafe, it all goes back to 'The System' and those running the show. Anyone who went to school in the 1970's-1980's and did more than read the Friday Flash/ Best Bets learnt a balanced education and should know that in the mid 1980's era when IBM provided computers in schools it went AWOL. meomy 971 Report post Posted August 22, 2021 @Guineas We see you have tagged us with a confused , look up the names mentioned in the post and you will see where all the sheetethe world is in has come from. There's Scientists and then there's Scientists.  The McLaren/ Michie family have ruined the world with their questionable practices across the board. It all has a snowball impact on world finances, public health and how we go about our lives. We know there's been dishonesty over the years in our our country however those families mentioned above are complete bonkers.
