JJ Flash 2,135 Report post Posted April 20, 2021 2 1390 sprint races with capacity fields of 10 runners. The rest of the program is over 2000 metres and also well patronized. Is this the way of the future ? Hunter the punter
Navitas 108 Report post Posted April 20, 2021 My initial response is, why? But prepered to wait and see how races over 1390 go. Limited to 6 off the front, will that make much difference if you draw 5 or 6? Be watching with interest, but won't be having a punt!!! eljay 1,719 Report post Posted April 20, 2021 There is always calls of "sameness" in racing - boring etc. This is something different which may or may not work. But there's only one way to find out - isn't there? JJ Flash

Blue 1,095 Report post Posted April 21, 2021 Novel race means just that to me. No reason to think it will become regular any more than would a 3,400 meter race would.
