A lot of familiar names and children and  other family connections still involved.

#12 driver looks like Peter Jones ,Dad of Mark.

#4 owner RFPankhurst most likely the gallops trainer.

#13 owner ....Lance Pearson very good Otago cricketer and Basketball stalwart.

Whaa Hana trained by JL Behrns at Chertsey.

Jack had some handy horses...one was Cardinal King who won 10 races [ Cup class ].

I think CK was at least part owned in Otago.

TC Behrns  a son I believe.

Whaa Hans, probably the first horse race commentary winner I think I ever heard,Oamaru at labour weekend Saturday,Lochie Marshall was the caller, 4ZB Dunedin,so that horse sticks in the memory,I actually liked the colours the ,royal blue with the cerise hoops that the Behrns use to have.

Despite that being a C2 race at a lower key meeting,Addington had the Easter cup in the day, that's a fairly handy field.
