Tim Williams seemed to get a very raw deal from Allstars. He was the back-up driver while Mark Purdon and Natalie Rasmussen took all the plum drives for themselves in the big stakes races. And one would have reasonably expected Tim to become No. 1 stable driver once Hayden Cullen took over the Allstars operation. But not so. In fact, Purdon and Rasmussen reappear for the big stakes races and the plum drives, and it seems like poor old has been shite on, and left out in the cold. And all of this confirms my long-held view that Purdon and Rasmussen are very greedyand selfish people. Shame on them.

Couldn't disagree with your statement more, he was afterall the stables #3 driver.

TW is a very good driver and true, he didn't get to drive the stables top horse's very often, but he certainly got his share of winners, in big races, for the All Stars. Also, I imagine the owners would have a pretty big say in who they'd prefer to drive their horse.

Sounds like tall poppy bashing to me, shame on you

No Shame there Cynic,      Mark has just won the NZ Cup driving Self Assured  and the Auckland Cup driving Amazing Dream.

The owners must be 'over the moon' delighted. !!!  Doesn't seem right to replace him if he's still available ???  not gone overseas yet

Hayden must be delighted that Mark is 'still in town ' to take the drives this week as well. ??? No reason to change drivers when one of the WORLD's best is available.

Tim will get drives for you, and Cullen, just not at this point of time , so close to that recent 'Handover"

All Stars roll on!!

Quite a roll too, more like an Avalanche.

Just looking at the Friday Addington fields. TIM WILLIAMS does indeed have drives for Cullen (including in a 150k race so nice driving percentage available) so what is Cynic on about ???

Tim is also driving the main opposition Trainer (DUNN) horses TWICE too , trying to beat the Cullen runners in the Summer Cup and NZ Breeders G1.

Cynic wants Tim to drive ALL the CULLEN horses, but TIM quite happy to drive against them for the main opponent Trainer. ?? Cynic wonders why Owners retain Mark as driver ??

Hope cynic looks at it from an OWNERS point of view before calling greedy and selfish. MARK is UNLIKELY to drive against them anytime.........easy to work out.......

Please if you want to participate here please do it pleasantly...if you have a private issue with Mark or Natalie I suggest you take it up with them...not air your dirty laundry here.

Of course Mark (and Natalie, for now) are going to keep the plum drives ... just like Luke McCarthy does despite whose name appears in the book as the trainer over there.

A much more interesting question would be, "Who gets the trainers percentage if and when Amazing Dream is sold"?

You'd think it would have to be Hayden Cullen now that he's the "trainer" surely. Yeah right!

You have no idea how owners sometimes want the driver of their choice on their horses I suspect you are not the full quid otherwise you wouldn't make such inane statements. Are you the imbecile on anther site who goes by Forbury I suspect you are. Btw most of the staff at All Stars/Cullen Racing stables have been here many many years. Has somebody Shite on you and left you out in the cold would not surprise.

Tim Williams has driven many winners trained by the All Stars, far more winners than he would have if he was employed elsewhere. Yes, Mark and Natalie, get the best drives but that is the way in any stable. Tim Williams is an excellent driver but Mark and especially Natalie are better drivers. Williams has also driven the best three-year-old filly this season Bettor Twist, she has won two G1 races and narrowly beaten in another by Enjoy Me who had softest run imaginable.

Hayden would get paid the trainers share firstly. Whether there is a handshake deal beyond that is between themselves.  Hayden still pays the tax as his business is training horses.

He has quite a few in on Friday and MP is not driving any of them. Tim and Olivia are on the HC horses although Mark has been engaged on a first starter from Steve Dolan's barn , hint-- get on

Glad you see the great man as a Get-on. Very few can do what he does and travel all over the shop and beat the Locals who know the tracks like back of hand.

examples are the 2 Perth Interdominions Glouscester Park (very tricky track)  he won in recent years, Lazarus (just too good) and Smolda who was at 10-1 odds.

At the big 1400m Menangle track, many feature wins for Mark too , knocking over the locals. 2019 Miracle Mile with Spankem was a ripper.
