tasman man 742 Report post Posted December 27, 2020 Ellerslie really turned on an outstanding days racing. Good weather, good track , a bumper and enthusiastic crowd producing plenty of colour and atmosphere. And the horses and horsepeople responded with very competitive racing ,horses winning from all over the track and the cream rising to the top. Our top jockeys and trainers certainly led the way with Te Akau just brilliant.Ditto Oppie and Danielle ! Great to see several big syndicates winning...over 50 people in some of the winning photos with Te Akau and Go Racing highlighting this important pathway to ownership and interest. Fashions and sensible partying all to the fore with plenty of first time youngsters / young adults on course and more picnicing families than in recent years. A sellout crowd , all enjoying themselves and mostly well connected to the show on stage.....the horses and the racing ! Well done Ellerslie . scoobysnacks, soliloquy and talk

Tauhei Notts 1,403 Report post Posted December 29, 2020 I backed Jamie Richards in the first race and the ninth race. Second & third. He won every race in between. I thought on the way home, that I had backed Surfers Paradise in the Wanganui Guineas and the AJC Derby. He won every race in between. shaneMcAlister
