mikenz 1,071 Report post Posted November 14, 2020 Yes the cup was a debacle no doubt but how many years had he done the job,I've always found a lot of standing starts a bit of a lottery

Yes he was bad and looks like he had lost respect of some drivers. NZMTC officials thought likewise. The conflict of interest is now gone and don't be surprised if Donelly mucks up the RIU will prefer charges against him. Something that never happened when Lamb adjudicated Long stop

The Fixer was badly affected by a Lamb shambles the year he won the Cup. It was only the skill of Natalie Rasmussen that ensured the horse didn't lose much ground. Lamb has been useless for years but this season worse than ever. It is not just an isolated incident that saw him get the sack it has been coming and should have come sooner. Keneperu 339 Report post Posted November 15, 2020 Thing is Pam Ron Carter was a gentleman who treated eveyone with respect unike the sacked Lamb who was just the opposite. What is worrying Lamb maybe retained by some clubs especially over xmas when the "good" starters will be required for the better meets. The other worry is he is still a stipe with scores to settle. Best result would be a total "move on" out of the sport! LongOwner, Pam Robson and Value Bell

MAJESTIC 179 Report post Posted November 18, 2020 Obviously not all clubs in Canterbury are reading the same chapter and verse. This is why there is so much tension and anomosity between clubs in Canterbury. They need to take a leaf out of the Southern Harness setup. One starter for all clubs. Oh no they can't because they do not realise what unity is all about. Keneperu, LongOwner and Iraklis

Oh no they can't because they do not realise what unity is all about. But the southern starter is not also on RIU Further. He let's them all do run up standing starts. Consistent as. Its why Dexter and Blair do well down that way
