It was dated 7th September.

7 September 2020

NZTR CIRCULAR 2020/21 – No.8

TO EACH TOTALISATOR CLUB AND SECTOR ORGANISATION

UPDATE ON NZTR COVID-19 DIRECTIVES – Limited Attendance – Alert Level 2

NZTR has updated the Level 2 Directive. Updated version of this Directive is available on the NZTR website (link).

This document varies from the previous version only in the marked-up changes in clauses:

  • 2.1 (a)(iv) Enabling attendance of NZTR Authorised Bloodstock Agents

  • 2.1 (a)(v) That on stipulated terms, owners, sponsors, members and ticketed guests may be admitted to race meetings under Alert Level 2 on or after 19 September 2020.

So why not from the 7-9-20 then?

Presumably because the required protocols needed to be completed by clubs and signed off and owners needed to be advised, RSVP etc.

Have you read the regulations for this?

NZTR has determined that from 19 September, if COVID Alert Level 2 prevails, that clubs can choose whether they will plan for and host attendees in a safe manner consistent with the Government’s Health Orders relating to gatherings and hospitality for up to 100 guests in separate defined areas. If attendances are intended, the club must complete and submit a Health & Safety Operating Plan for NZTR’s advance approval, as is outlined in the attached template.
