Trump 2,741 Report post Posted September 1, 2020 He weighed out correctly and that was proven. Therefore, the horse was an official starter (backed for a stack). He weighed in light (1kg) so somewhere between weighing out and weighing in, he lost some lead. Hence he weighed in more than the 0.5kg allowed in difference of the two so had to be DQ’d. Make sense? Chris Wood 1,545 Report post Posted September 1, 2020 He left hit lead bag off as he gave connections the saddle, unfortunate mistake that cost connections, punters and himself! Unfortunate mistake, and one he will be feeling. Gruff

Unfortunate mistake, and one he will be feeling. He was only 1kg under according to reports and his answer was that “one of the Lead Weights must have fallen out”. So most of the Lead was there bar one piece.
