Littletramp 381 Report post Posted August 29, 2020 Anyone else consider this ride on the eventual winner to be very similar to Hugh Bowman's reckless ride in Sydney (apart from no inside option available here)? If Trudy did not recognise the danger early and take a hold, this could have been carnage IMHO. I bet there are some choice words being said in the jockeys room right now. Just how I saw it. Trudy saved the day there alright the winner was fortunate to have its shoulder over the rump of horse in front otherwise he would have been sitting on his arse with the poor buggers following in same spot. If he doesn't get a holiday there something wrong in the system but I bet Trudy told him his pedigree.

kdt 291 Report post Posted August 29, 2020 Nothing much to read in the Stewards Report. Ramsamy moved out and Thornton moved in as did Cameron. All 3 riders warned to exercise greater care. Not even close to Bowman case imho meomy and swampfox 1
