80 year old Trainers Sylvia Kay and Alan Jones deliver the goods

Congratulations to Bob Autridge, Sylvia Kay  and AJones  who have all trained winners in the last few days.

 Our  wonderful Dame Sylvia Kay trained Dolcetto to win his 10th race on Saturday.

Top weight and all with Hazel Schofer riding him .

Then 24 hours later Sir Alan Lesley Jones trained and  won with Aquajack on his home course, Caloundra.

1000m dash, out side gate. Michael Cahill, sooled Aquajack  out of gates, took trail like he was Linda Ballyntyne and kicked clear.

Bob, Sylvia and Sir Alan   had their birthdays this last month.

Their collective ages plus Bob Autridge's total  194 

I have been lucky enough to have horses with all three of the above Octogenerians.

( My brother is not any where near 80 )

Speaking of the name Jones,Linda Jones what became of her,a few years since she started riding,she certainly started something .

Sylvia probably should have had another winner but for the rider taking off before acceptances.
