critter 6 Report post Posted June 20, 2020 How much rain around Pukekohe fell this week. Winter just started and running on a heavey 11 track. What is July and August going to be Heavey 15 maybe. You lot are dreaming if you think punters will risk betting on that garbage track.

They were both custard, better chance of a winner at Pukekohe. napier

NeilD 160 Report post Posted June 20, 2020 I was surprised how good the track was for the amount of rain they had. Race 1 last 600m 35.05. Race 2 34.45. I haven't checked those yet but full credit to the track staff. I walked it before the first and was expecting my 'Stick In The Mudometer' to go much deeper. scoobysnacks 386 Report post Posted June 20, 2020 The golf course isn't playing heavy, but racetracks are different beasts. Hasn't felt like we've had much rain but we have had some heavy downpours at times, so guessing that has contributed to the heavy surface. How Much in the last 7 days. 40 mils in 3 days before yesterdays heavy rain (do not know that figure yet). If you had your time again you probably wouldn't build a track in such a low lying area. scoobysnacks and Baz (NZ) 1
