gubellini 3,995 Report post Posted May 10, 2020 Browsing through an old stud book I found Rustic Maid. Amazingly between 1936 and 1957 she produced 20 foals surely a world record for a standardbred mare. Her 10th foal was Chamfer who won the 1950 NZ Cup and who sired the 1966 Interdominion winner Chamfer’s Star. Maurice Holmes drove Chamfer in his 1950 Cup win and remarkably finished second on Robin Dundee behind Chamfer’s Star in the 1966 Interdominion Final. 2Piper and Patiti
2Piper 408 Report post Posted May 29, 2020 Would think Scuse Me could hold a record for money by progeny of offspring and daughters offspring for a NZ bred broodmare.. Her herself was a former NZ mile record holder. Patiti
