tripple alliance 1,024 Report post Posted March 23, 2020 Effin unbelievable , Any goodwill towards cindy for her handling this is gone . So much for all in this together . What is she thinking , thousands will shop there endangering us all and the staff will be exposed to this danger and will take the virus home . It would be far safer to attend a race meeting than go shopping at the wharehouse , this is WRONG . The Warehouse will remain open during New Zealand's four-week isolation period. In an announcement to the sharemarket, The Warehouse said it was a provider of key consumer goods for New Zealanders. You bag her mercilessly, in regard to everything she does, in both her public and personal life. This lack of objectivity makes your views irrelevant. Totally out of her depth from Day 1, despite the constant fawning from the media. meomy, GOM and Insider 2

Uriah Heap , please think a little about cindys successes as a leader and the successes of her small , Winston dominated government . This racing decision is totally in line with all her other decisions , failed policy after failed policy , she in reality, has no right to be in the job . Now this current shockingly poor decision should be used by the racing industry to argue for the continuation of racing , even if it is without public attendance . The whare house will have thousands going through their doors daily , racing could easily argue oncourse attendance be limited to owners as well as essential staff and carry on , this will be far safer for the community than shopping at the wharehouse . Go into say Macdonald's and you get a number and get put on an electronic list. Surely a supermaket or whatever can get a system you self register a number and the customer goes back into their cars or wonders around the block. Closing the borders stopped external infections...if the individual isolations were handled correctly. They weren’t. 40m Californians were also told to stay home.....that’s working well.... One of the quirks of Jacinda Ardern is that anything with international elements she just follows what the UK does. If UK doesn't have racing then NZ doesn't . With the media, Winston Peters being so pro American and Zionist she is dead scared opening her mouth about foreign policy e.g. Middle East. This is one very sick joke. 2.30pm Warehouse temporarily halts trading on NZX The Warehouse Group is currently in a trading halt, according to an announcement from the NZX50. Earlier in the day, the company told the market that its stores would remain open over the four week shutdown period, as a supplier of “key consumer goods”. Its share price rose 41c in the aftermath of that announcement. However, at a press conference earlier this afternoon, an MBIE spokesperson poured cold water on any certainty that Warehouse stores could remain open, saying only that no decision had yet been made. “I would caution firms about leaping to judgement about what their status will be”, said the spokesperson. Idolmite 2,527 Report post Posted March 24, 2020 The way I understood it, it was THE WAREHOUSE said they were remaining open, NOT the Government. The Government then said they couldn't see that The Warehouse WAS an essential service, hence it's now being questioned/discussed. They may be more essential in some regions than others. T/A, talk about going off half cocked and using your political leanings to try and take a dig, but in this case you're only digging a hole for yourself.
