Why not Racing ?

Recommended Posts

Effin unbelievable  , Any goodwill towards cindy for her handling this  is gone  . So much for all in this together .  What is she thinking , thousands will shop there endangering us all and the staff will be exposed to this danger and will take the virus home .  It would be far safer to attend a race meeting than go shopping at the wharehouse  , this is WRONG .

The Warehouse will remain open during New Zealand's four-week isolation period

In an announcement to the sharemarket, The Warehouse said it was a provider of key consumer goods for New Zealanders.

You've never shown any "goodwill" toward Jacinta Ardern, on any matter, ever. You bag her mercilessly, in regard to everything she does, in both her public and personal life.

This lack of objectivity makes your views irrelevant.

Hardly surprising Uriah...and it’s Jacinda. Totally out of her depth from Day 1, despite the constant fawning from the media.

Uriah Heap , please think a little about cindys successes as a leader and the successes of her small , Winston dominated government . This racing decision is totally in line with all her other decisions , failed policy after failed policy , she in reality,  has no right to be in the job .

Now this current shockingly poor decision should be used by the racing industry to argue for the continuation of racing , even if it is without public attendance . The whare house will have thousands going through their doors daily , racing could easily argue oncourse attendance be limited to owners as well as essential staff and carry on , this will be far safer for the community than shopping at the wharehouse .

That shows how stupid people are. What happened to the 2 m safe distance. Can't they read? This will never work when we have idiots like that in the game.

Its not up to government to do every logical miniscule operation of a business.

Go into say Macdonald's and you get a number and get put on an electronic list. Surely a supermaket or whatever can get a system you self register a number and the customer goes back into their cars or wonders around the block.

Ohokaman why don't you "open your gob with a solution".  Easy just to knock.

They were too little too late. Closing the borders stopped external infections...if the individual isolations were handled correctly. They weren’t.

40m Californians were also told to stay home.....that’s working well....

One of the quirks of Jacinda Ardern is that anything with international elements she just follows what the UK does. If UK doesn't have racing then NZ doesn't . With the media, Winston Peters being so pro American and  Zionist she is dead scared opening her mouth about foreign policy e.g. Middle East.

And the result of that is us moving to Level 4. Ie The disease is not contained.

That didn't take long did it , on Stuff over 600 comments condemning the announcement , the back down was swift . Make no mistake cindy is the only hope the collection of losers has and it won't be long before a scapegoat paraded in front of the media . The announcement to the stock exchange is real and such is the backlash the warehouse has gone into a trading holt .  Stock exchange announcements are serious and this will have had official sanctions  . Watch the cover up unfold .

That man that said that The Warehouse was an essential place;

Was he script writer for McPhail & Gadsby some years ago?

This is one very sick joke.

2.30pm Warehouse temporarily halts trading on NZX

The Warehouse Group is currently in a trading halt, according to an announcement from the NZX50. Earlier in the day, the company told the market that its stores would remain open over the four week shutdown period, as a supplier of “key consumer goods”. Its share price rose 41c in the aftermath of that announcement. However, at a press conference earlier this afternoon, an MBIE spokesperson poured cold water on any certainty that Warehouse stores could remain open, saying only that no decision had yet been made.

“I would caution firms about leaping to judgement about what their status will be”, said the spokesperson.

That’s typical Countdown customers, probably the very same ones who support the Australian Corporate Bookmakers.
P.S. I have always thought that The Warehouse were mongrels. Now I know. Thank God Jacinda cut them off at the knees.

I have morals!
I do have Auckland Airport shares and they aren’t looking to good going forward, but get the timing right and there will be a great opportunity sooner or later. :rcfe-like:

Great. Let me know when you think I should hop on.

Some of my timing hasn't been too good lately.

Incorrect. No decision been made yet. They are still looking at what they might be able to provide.

The way I understood it, it was THE WAREHOUSE said they were remaining open, NOT the Government. The Government then said they couldn't see that The Warehouse WAS an essential service, hence it's now being questioned/discussed. They may be more essential in some regions than others. T/A, talk about going off half cocked and using your political leanings to try and take a dig, but in this case you're only digging a hole for yourself. Please resurface next Spring when this is all over.....
