Don't you just get sick of incompetence

We're horse/ animal people and have seen outbreaks of various sorts in our industry. Why then in the humanoid world do we have idiots drop the ball so much?

Why not test everyone with symptoms? We had plenty of time to prepare ourselves to get the testing kits organised - especially the main population centres. Who are the idiots that set these guidelines? Is this the same sort of defective thinking that delivered the Racing Bill (which I personally think was appalling)?

As Berri said,  we're horse/animal people,  we know the importance of isolating any newcomer to stables.   You wouldn't take a new arrival off a truck and put it nose to nose to your racing stock,  ffs....

Under this current regime any new horse would be expected to self isolate  by putting itself in am empty box  and shutting the stable door.

I guess Hoofer-Eats will provide food and refreshments to the isolated ones?

The fact that a bunch of health professionals have been exposed and are now quarantined at home suggests that it is MORE easily transmitted than what we are being told. They would be safer, cleaner and more aware of the possible pitfalls and safeguards required than tom, dick or harry public and still they were  caught out.
